Tirupate: As the Prime Minister of EP Prime Minister N. Chandrabababu Naidu, Totapuri Mango farmers in the Chittoor region, which officially approve the share per kg in the central market intervention plan (MIN), will receive the most needed financial aid.

The center will contribute to 1.86 per kg per kg as a part of the 25 percent subsidy on fixed supply price per kg. However, since the state already depends on a flat 4 subsidies, the remaining La 0.28 per kg will now carry the pricing gaps do not affect farmers.
Chittoor, Tirupati and Annameya regional administrations started the basis for distributing the subsidy, which is expected to be deposited in farmers’ bank accounts within a month. Unlike Karnataka, which imposes restrictions such as two hectares of border and 5 tons of cap per hectares per farmer, Andhra Pradesh did not introduce such ceilings and allowed both small and large -scale growers to benefit fully. A high -level official of the regional horticulture department said, “The maximum benefit per farmer in Karnataka can receive approximately 40,000. Here, depending on the amount sold, some of our breeders can get La 2 lakh.

So far, the factories in the Chittoor area and the collection ramps have purchased about 3.25 lakh tons of Totapuri Mango. 15,000-20,000 tons are still in trees. Authorities expect the total volume suitable for subsidies to reach approximately 3.40 lakh tons. As ₹ 4 per kg, this turns into a subsidy expenditure of La 136 Crore, Center’s La 63.24 Crore and La 72.76 Crore.

In the neighboring Tirupati and Annameya regions where another lakh tone is processed, the center will contribute to 18.60 crore and the situation with 21.40 crore under the same scheme. In total, farmers in the unidentified Chittoor region are expected to receive 81.84 Crore and 176 Crore support from the center of 81,84 Crore and the state government.

Currently, seven factories and nine ramps continue to be operational, but as they approached the end of the season, the daily process has slowed down. In Rythu Bharosa Kendras, the confirmation of the beneficiaries continues, where the lists are crossed against the sales of mango sales made at the authorized facilities.

“Only those sold in the authorized centers will be appropriate. We confirm the lists and aim to give credit to the subsidies within a month,” he said.
