Maoist Leader Surrenders Before ASR Police

Visakhapatnam: Senior CPI (Maoist) leader voluntarily surrendered in front of the director of Police Amite Bardar from the Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) region on Monday. The delivered member was described as a 34 -year -old Dirido Deva, a Maoist Regional Committee of the CPI (Maoist), a member of the Sukma Region.

In 2001, Dirido Deva entered Maoism, where he was influenced by Senior Maoist leaders Bejji ACM and Los Commander Vetti Rama in 2001.

Over the years, he has advanced in various positions such as the Children’s Wing (Balela Sangham) and DAKMS membership and finally rose to become a member of the field committee. He also worked as the commander of the platoon and a member of the action team and worked as an instructor by educating new recruitment in guerrilla war tactics.

He worked as a member of the Count Regional Committee at the time of surrender, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and Bubi traps were reported to be experts in producing and distributing.

According to police records, Deva participated in various violence incidents, including two murder cases and 13 security forces, including fire exchange. He also played a role in attacks on developing infrastructure, including the multiple planting of IEDs targeting two events and security personnel of the burning road construction machines.

He also participated in hiding explosives, revolutionary literature and other Maoist materials in forest areas in various villages.

Asr SP Amit Bardar emphasized the importance of rehabilitation of former Maoists into the society after surrendering.

He made sure that all benefits within the scope of government policy would be provided on time and called for surrendered individuals to use government welfare programs for their development and their families.
