Mapped: London boroughs with highest crime rates and most common offence of 2025 so far

London districts with the highest crime rate this year appeared.
Metropolitan police, until June this year, each London district of the crime statistics published.
In total, there were 455,768 crimes recorded by the country’s largest police force between January and June 2025.
According to the Met police, theft, recorded 148,559 was the most recorded crime by crime. This fell from 155,483 theft until January – June 2024 – decreased by 4.5 percent.
This includes 46,518 theft and 45.224 theft crime from one person.
Violence against a person was the second most recorded crime with 119,721 incidents. This was slightly higher than the same period last year – 118,696.
The third was in 43,929 vehicle crimes, then arson and criminal damage with 27,643 incidents recorded in the first six months of the year.

Westminster was the district with the highest crime level in London, which was recorded by 41,639 crimes in the first six months of the year. The 25,997 theft crime recorded by the Met police and the January -June 2025 were violent against a person ‘.
Camden had the second highest crime level in 20,333 between January-June. There were 10,160 thefts in the region, 3,481 violence and 481 sexual assault report.
Third, 19,789 criminals were recorded in Newham in East London, 19,789 in the first six months of the year. 7,028 theft, 1,407 drug crimes and 1.015 arson and criminal damage.
