Marathons held in Shivamogga and Hassan for drug-free Karnataka

Shivamogga police organized a marathon on March 1 to promote fitness and spread awareness against drug consumption.

Shivamogga Police Inspector B. Nikhil flagged off the marathon at DAR Grounds. In addition to police personnel, many city residents and representatives of various institutions also attended the event. They followed the route covering KSRTC bus stand, AA Circle, Nehru Road, Jail Circle and Circuit House Circle.

In Hassan, elected representatives, including Lok Sabha member Shreyas M. Patel, Swaroop Prakash, MLA, joined the police team in the marathon. Superintendent of Police Shubhanwita, Additional Commissioner of Police Thammaiah and many students attended the event.
