Secretary of State Marco Rubio was photographed wearing $145 Florsheim shoes, gifted to him by President Donald Trump, that appeared to be too big for his feet.
Media outlets noted that Rubio, Vice President J.D. Vance and all male Cabinet members wore the same style of shoes. MAGA allies Sean Hannity, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, Tucker Carlson and White House Deputy Chief of Staff James Blai also received a pair of shoes, the Express has learned.
The President reportedly likes to open each Cabinet meeting by asking attendees if they liked the “incredible” element. “Did you get your shoes?” he would ask.
“All the boys have it,” a female White House official said. “This is hysterical because everyone is scared of not wearing them,” another joked.
According to reports, the President likes to add a personal note to every pair he sends.

According to a report published in the Times, Vance recalled a conversation between himself, Trump, Rubio and an unnamed politician.
“It’s as if the president raises his hand and says, ‘No, no, no, wait a second. There’s something much more important. The shoes,'” Vance recalled. “He looks over the Resolute Desk and says, ‘Marco, JD, you have nice shoes. We have to get you better shoes.'”
“He goes out and gets a catalogue. There’s another politician in the room… and he shows us around this incredible shoe catalogue,” Vance continued. “The President gifts us four pairs of shoes.
“‘Marco, what’s your shoe size?’ he says. And Marco is apparently 11.5 years old,” Vance adds.

“‘JD, what’s your shoe size?’ he says. My shoe size is 13.
Vance concludes: “And he asks this politician, who I won’t embarrass, what his shoe size is, and he says ‘seven’.” “The president leans back in his chair and says, ‘You know you can tell a lot about a man by his shoe size.'”
The president reportedly measured people’s shoe sizes in their presence before placing an order with an aide. The White House insists that Trump pay for the shoes in person, and a week later he sends a brown Florsheim shoe box with Trump’s signature and an occasional personal message.

Various sources told the WSJ they heard a cabinet secretary complain about having to ditch her Louis Vuitton shoes and wear Florsheims when visiting the White House; Because people who received a pair of shoes from the president considered it their duty to wear these shoes in their company.
The American shoe company, which is affordable compared to other dress shoe manufacturers, was founded in Chicago in 1892 by German immigrant Sigmund Florsheim and his son Milton.

President Harry Truman wore the shoes, and Michael Jackson immortalized their loafers with his iconic moonwalk. Reports indicate that the president was drawn to the Florsheim brand late last year when he was looking for shoes that would provide more comfort after a long day at work.
It remains unclear why Trump sought a different shoe brand, but the president rejected compression socks that could relieve his chronic venous insufficiency, a medical condition that causes swelling in the calves and ankles.
In January, Trump told the Journal that he briefly tried wearing medical compression stockings but stopped using them because he “didn’t like it.”
