Margot Robbie continues her fashion parade in a red velvet Chanel gown before slipping into a black lace corset minidress at the Wuthering Heights premiere in Paris

Margot Robbie took the fashion world by storm with not one but two looks when Wuthering Heights arrived in Paris for the premiere at Le Grand Rex on Monday night.
The 35-year-old actress and 28-year-old Jacob Elordi play lovers Catherine and Heathcliff in the new romantic drama film, loosely inspired by Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel of the same name.
Taking to the red carpet, Margot once again paid homage to the film’s Georgian era in a red velvet Chanel gown with a dramatic train, before slipping into a black lace corset mini dress.
The plunging bodice of the Chanel dress showed off Margot’s cleavage and tiny waist, while the voluminous skirt draped over her frame to reveal a white underlay.
Margot completed the dress with a 100-carat champagne diamond-studded choker necklace by Lorraine Schwartz.
Jacob, meanwhile, looked effortlessly cool in a brown suit and shirt. The duo showed no signs of fatigue as they continued the film’s promotional tour after Los Angeles.

In an interview, Margot admitted that she enjoyed the emotional “takes” of the film.
When asked if romantic scenes require different preparation, Margot told People: ‘It’s no different than any other scene we’ve done. The film demands a lot from all of us.
‘My character actually cries in every scene, but no, it was very enjoyable. ‘I loved playing a character who went from one crazy emotion to another in an instant.’
The new film is written and directed by Emerald Fennell, and the 40-year-old filmmaker emphasized that ‘safety, trust and love’ were uppermost in her mind when directing the sex scenes.
Emerald, who directed Jacob in 2023’s Saltburn, shared: ‘It’s always about making everyone feel very comfortable, and we really are. We trust each other and so we try to make it funny and laugh everything off.
‘But the love scenes are essentially the same as any other scene. And so we’re just approaching it from an emotional perspective.’
Emerald also revealed that she enjoyed the experience of working with Margot.
He said: ‘Do you know what happened? He is an inspiration. She is an extraordinary woman.
‘She’s a mother, she’s a producer, she’s an incredibly talented actress, and she also always has time to be generous to the people around her. And that’s why he’s the best.”

This would make Wuthering Heights the biggest box office opening film of Jacob’s career and Margot’s first hit since 2023’s Barbie.
Notably, Barbie, which starred Robbie in the title role and Fennell had a cameo role as Midge, had a budget of $150 million for marketing alone.
The marketing juggernaut encompassed everything from the actual Malibu Barbie DreamHouse Airbnb, so obnoxiously pink it could be seen from 10 miles away, to HGTV (owned by Warner Bros.) airing a four-part Barbie DreamHouse Challenge special in which more than 100 clothing and lifestyle brands cashed in.
