Dharmendra, the He-Man of Bollywood, passed away on November 4, leaving millions of his fans heartbroken forever. The legendary superstar passed away on November 24 at the age of 89. His ashes were buried in the Ganga river at Har Ki Pauri, Haridwar, on 4 December. Dharmendra’s sons Sunny and Bobby were also there for Asthi visarjan. But the ashes were not immersed in water by them. The priest who performed the Asthi Visarjan rituals made a big statement.

In an interview with ANI, priest Rohit Shrotriya revealed that all Dharmendra’s family members were there. They wanted to bury the ashes in Har Ki Pauri. However, neither Sunny Deol nor Bobby Deol performed the ritual. The person who performed the immersion was Dharmendra’s grandson Karan Deol. Pind daan ritual was also performed.

The priest said: “The family members came here… They wanted to immerse the ashes in Har Ki Pauri but for some reason Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol could not go and Dharmendra ji’s grandson Karan (Deol) performed the ashes immersion… The ‘Pind daan’ ritual was also performed… Sunny Deol’s entire family, Bobby Deol’s entire family was involved in it…”
