This bomb threat points to the last in a series of similar incidents in the national capital. Only a month ago, Delhi schools were given a high alarm after a comparable threat. On August 21, 2025, at least six schools in Delhi were targeted with bomb threats and led to comprehensive search operations of emergency teams, including Delhi Fire Services.
At the beginning of this week, Delhi lived calls for a bomb threat targeting 32 schools that were determined to be scam.
The Supreme Court of Delhi also received bomb threats last week and led to the high warning protocols, suspension of hearings and release of judges, lawyers, plaintiffs and personnel as a security measure.
Since January, Delhi-NCR has been experiencing a series of scam e-mails that are targeted for more than 150 schools and colleges in just eight months. Each event starts the same response: sirens, evacuation exercises, parents who rushed to the campuses and important police deploying. No dangerous substances have been found so far.
