Met police investigate suspected arson attack after Ilford restaurant fire | London

Scotland Yard is investigating a suspicious arson attack on a restaurant in Ilford, east of London, who left three people in a life -threatening position.
Police, medical officials and firefighters were called to the scene in Gants Hill, Woodford Avenue at 9 o’clock on Friday.
London Firefighters said that after the damage of the ground floor of firefighters, he saved five people from the restaurant, and that nine other people could come out in advance.
Metropolitan police said that five people were injured and three were in a life -threatening situation. All burned and smoke were treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital.
A London Firefighter spokesman said: “Tugay’s control officers received seven calls about the fire and mobilized crew from Ilford, Hinault, Leytonstone and Woodford Firefighters.
“The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service.” No arrest was made.
A 43 -year -old Hospital Porter Edward Thawe went out of his nearby house with his 12 -year -old son to see if he could help you to scream on the road.
The police and the ambulance were at the scene, when Thawe described Thawe as “terrible” and “more than scary and something you don’t want to look twice.
He said: ım I heard you screamed and heard that people said they were looking for the police. I went out (shop) and a man who robbed his skin.
“The skin burned. I didn’t want to look.”
DCI Mark Rogers of Met’s Central Expert Crime Northern Unit said, uz We understand that this event will cause concern in the community. My expert detectives team is working quickly to bring the incident together.
“The locals may expect a large police in the region. If you have any concerns, please talk to the officers on the ground.”
Uniform officers, judicial officers in protective clothes, while examining the scene on Saturday, protecting the police cord protected the police cord.
