Original “Scream” actor Matthew Lillard denounced Immigration and Customs Enforcement during a fan screening of the 1990s horror movie on Friday.

Appearing on stage at a Los Angeles theater for the Halloween “Scream” event, Lillard took a moment to criticize the Trump administration’s sanctions on immigrants and urged Angelenos to respond with love.

“F— ICE. At this time, in this city, we need to lead with love. Remember this s— in this moment. Not being political, being s— political.” Lillard said.

Lillard, who is set to reprise his role as the original “Scream” in the upcoming “Scream 7,” also appealed to the crowd to vote for Proposition 50 in the upcoming special election in California.

“Yes to 50. You have to vote. If you don’t, we fall. So it’s our responsibility. And if you don’t like it, I’m not sorry at all.”

The ballot measure would allow state lawmakers to temporarily redraw California’s congressional map; Democrats say the move could help them win additional seats in Congress.

Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif. and other state Democrats are backing an effort that could create five more Democratic-leaning congressional districts to counter the passage of a new Texas redistricting map that aims to create up to five Republican-leaning seats in the House of Representatives.

Other celebrities have also criticized ICE and President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda in recent months; as law enforcement increased their efforts to deport illegal immigrants across the country.

Latin music star Bad Bunny criticized ICE in a September interview, saying one of the reasons he skipped U.S. tour dates on his “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos World Tour” was so his fans didn’t risk being caught by ICE agents.

While performing at Portland’s Fashion Center in October, pop star Reneé Rapp condemned recent ICE raids there, saying: “So let’s f— make it abundantly clear – F— ICE. F— this administration. F— Trump.”

Country artist Zach Bryan sparked controversy in October when a portion of his song “Bad News” went viral for its anti-ICE lyrics.

The controversy prompted a response from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who publicly criticized the singer.

“I hope he realizes how disrespectful this song is, not just to law enforcement, but to this country,” he said in an interview with conservative commentator Benny Johnson.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, DHS Deputy Secretary Tricia McLaughlin called out Lillard’s statements: “More boring nonsense from Hollywood elites who are completely disconnected from the American people. Forget the horror movies; the real horror is the violent criminal illegal aliens, including pedophiles, murderers, and rapists, that Joe Biden has allowed into our country and are now preying on innocent Americans.”

He added: “The media, asylum politicians and Hollywood elites must stop demonizing our brave law enforcement officers who are facing an 8,000% increase in deaths. [threats] terrorists opening fire on them, cars being used as weapons against them, their families’ personal information being deleted online, and even bounties placed on their heads by criminal gangs. “Lillard and his friends in Hollywood should try thanking a law enforcement officer.”
