MEA Deposits High Value Gifts in Toshakhana
New Delhi: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) has published a list of a few high -valuable gifts worth a few lakhs, which were invested in the “Toshakhana” government between January and April this year. Toshakhana is a safe warehouse in MEA for gifts received by government officials from foreign sources in India or abroad.
Among the products deposited:
• Prime Minister Narendra Modi
O 35 Lakh and La 28 Lakh worth two rolex clocks
That first edition Yellowstone National Park book and Maven Elite Dücumlar (La 80,000).
It is a series of perfumes and cloth (la 2 lakh).
A Lord Ganesha statue in that glass safe (La 1 Lakh).
• Minister of Foreign Affairs S. Jaishankar
O la 25 Lakh and La 5.75 Lakh worth two rolex clocks.
He’s a Chopard wristwatch (LA 12.5 Lakh).
A set of six elements (La 7.5 Lakh).
It is a piaget wristwatch, four mubkhar special collection perfumes and a bead necklace (combined la 10 lakh).
• Finance Minister Nirmala Sithaman
It is an IWC Schaffhausen wristwatch (La 5 Lakh).
• Defense Minister Rajnath Singh
He is a UAE 50th anniversary Caracal 2011 pistol in a tram bag (La 5 Lakh).
