Popular Punjabi singer Karan Aujla is in a huge controversy after a Canada-based rapper, singer and actress made shocking allegations against him. Tauba Tauba claimed that the singer, known for chartbusters such as For A Reason, Boyfriend, Softly, Bachke Bachke and White Brown Black, had an affair with Palak Aujla, hiding the fact that he was married to her. The artist, who goes by the name msgorimusic on Instagram and is part of Twin Rap Duo Nyx and Nym, stated that she was “silenced and publicly shamed” when their alleged relationship became public, adding that Aujla’s team spread false allegations of wrongdoing against her and reached out to an Indian influencer to defame her.
In the screenshot of her statement, which went viral on social media, she writes: “I work in Hollywood films and was silenced and publicly shamed after a private affair with Karan Aujla without me knowing he was married. Aujla’s team then reached out to an Indian influencer to share misinformation to cover it all up. Canadian and US police are looking into the case. False allegations of crime against me were later spread, went viral in the West and was quietly kept away from India. A major US media outlet is now set to interview me and for the first time “I’m choosing to talk about this. Since doing so, many celebrities in India have contacted me privately, saying I’m ready to provide more context.”

Karan and Palak, who have been friends since childhood, exchanged rings in 2019 after a relationship that lasted almost a decade and got married to each other in Mexico in 2023. Palak Aujla, a makeup artist living in Canada, is the CEO of Maison Palké Luxury Ladies Salon, which she founded with her singer-husband in Dubai last year.
