Damani, a graduate of Economics and International Research at Northwestern University in the United States, began his career as a teacher under the scholarship of India Teach at a public school in Mumbai’s Dharavi. After finishing this scholarship in 2012, Dalberg started to work as a joint consultant for Global Development Consultants and stayed there until 2014. The following year he founded Vista rooms (now known as Stayvista), together with Ankita Seth and Pranav Mashwari. The company initially established a partnership with smaller hotels and houses for renting, but finally shifted its focus on luxury properties. Today, it is accepted as a first class luxury villa rental brand that offers more than 800 selected holiday houses in more than 60 places throughout India.

Great ambitions
Stayvista’s business model contains 30 percent income share in each reservation and 70 percent of it goes to the property owner. In just 10 years, the company witnessed the enormous financial growth that reached 110 RS turnover by 2023. In the coming years, Stayvista aims to become a 1,000 RS company with more than 2,500 houses and villas under its brand.

Damani’s other initiatives
Damani also works as an angel investor who is interested in investment areas such as design, technology, trade and shopping. Its portfolio includes companies such as Medbikri and Driffle. He is also the founding member of the Robin Hood Army in Mumbai, a volunteer organization that causes more food and less lucky from restaurants.
