Meghan issued two-word warning if she wants to ‘win over public’ | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has a two-word warning if she wants to “win the public’s support” with her social media presence. The 44-year-old actress made a surprise return to Instagram last January, sharing a series of posts in line with her work commitments and her experiences as the proud mother of six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet.
Speaking about what Meghan should use her platform this year, PR expert Rhea Freeman offered some helpful advice as well as an important caveat. He told the Daily Express: “Perhaps instead looking at relatable points that his audience can relate to? Maybe New Year’s Resolutions and things he wants to eliminate from his life this year? Or the quest to win and improve? Sharing goals around things that relate to that? He can then tie that back to his brand.”
She urged Meghan to “be careful” while posting on her personal Instagram account @meghan.
He added: “However, if he wants to win people over he has to be careful about it.
“It would be wise if these goals and resolutions align with larger themes – spending more time with friends might be a good idea (with some products carefully placed in the visuals), for example, but ‘growing my jam range’ doesn’t get anywhere near that either.
“Could another thing he could do be shift the focus away from himself and towards the causes he supports and ask key people connected to them about their vision for the next 12 months? This would be interesting content, show more depth and also highlight causes close to his heart.”
Although she hasn’t posted on @meghan, Meghan shared a new post on her brand As Ever’s Instagram account.
