The reason for this has now been explained by Gemma, who is said to be a big fan of Meghan Markle.

Gemma told me news.com.au: ““I have to pinch myself thinking that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is coming to sit at the table with me.

“I’m just a mum from Sydney with a podcast that started as a passion for people trying to live their best life.”

Gemma said she tried to persuade her former co-host, who left the podcast earlier this year, to return to the special and interview Meghan.

But reportedly for some reason the answer was no.

Gemma said: “She (Jackie) was adamant, ‘you have to do it yourself and it has to be you’.”

Meghan is expected to attend the women-only weekend event in Sydney on April 17.

The event costs around £1,440 per person and runs over three days, but it is believed Meghan will not be there for the entire retreat.

It is believed that Meghan will open up about her life as a woman in public.
