U.P. govt. to give ₹30 lakh each to families of two sanitation workers who died inhaling toxic gas

A local municipal commissioner said that each of the families who died after breathing toxic gas while cleaning a sewage tank in Vrindavan said that each of them would receive La 30 lakh as compensation.
The incident took place on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Keshav Dham, where Narendra (38) and Chhotellal (40) cleaned a sewage tank in a private guest house. Apparently, the guesthouse manager Hemant’s request was hired by the contractor Ammit.
Authorities, despite the potential presence of toxic gas, said that the security protocols were not followed and did not lead to death.

Although they are not employees of the Municipal Company, the commissioner, family members and various organizations demanding 1 crore for each victim, considering the appeals, each of which is an effort to provide 30 lakh as the help of the old Gratia, he said.
The commission also said that the police arrested the guest manager and the contractor on charges of murder that was not related to the murder.
