Meghan Markle reveals one hope she has for Princess Lilibet | Royal | News

She was accompanied by her husband, Prince Harry, who posed with her on the red carpet. Meghan, the documentary’s executive producer, spoke to the media on the red carpet about the new project and the Girl Scouts. She revealed her own dreams for her second child, telling ExtraTV: “As a mother, I find it really inspiring to be parents like we are, to grow and develop and raise our daughter to be a really strong woman like these girls.”

Cookie Queens is a documentary about four girls “trying to become the best-selling ‘Cookie Queen’ running an $800 million business where childhood and ambition collide.”

Harry and Meghan serve as executive producers through their media company Archewell Productions.

These are two of the film’s 13 executive producers; Chanel Pysnik, Regina K. Scully, Hallee Adelman, Ann Lewnes, Stephen G. Hall, Ruth Ann Harnisch, Geralyn Dreyfous, Tegan Acton, Emma Pompetti, James Costa and Trevor Burgess.

The documentary was directed by Alysa Nahmias, who also served as producer. Producers were Michael Dweck, Gregory Kershaw and Jennifer Sims.

Speaking at the early morning screening on Sunday, the Duchess praised the documentary as the “sweetest film” of the festival.

Introduced on stage as “Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex”, she waved as she walked onto the stage and was greeted with loud cheers and applause when she took the podium.

Meghan said: “This movie, yes, is probably the sweetest movie at the festival. But I’m also going to go out on a limb and say it’s one of the most powerful and meaningful depictions of something that is an American tradition and rooted in nostalgia.”
