Trump wrote on Truth Social: “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely awful, one of the worst shows ever! It makes no sense, is an insult to American Greatness, and does not represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. No one understands a word this guy says, and the dancing is disgusting, especially to little kids watching from all over the US and the world.”
“This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ for our Country that sets new standards and records every day, including the Best Stock Market in History and their 401(k)s. There is nothing inspiring about this Halftime Show and viewing mess, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media because they have no idea what is going on in the REAL WORLD — And by the way, the NFL needs to change their ridiculous new Kickoff Rule immediately. AMERICA BIG AGAIN!”
Prominent conservative figures were among the show’s harshest critics, and even U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon intervened.
One of the biggest criticisms of the series was that it was almost entirely in Spanish.

Other users even linked the demonstration to the country’s ongoing debate over illegal immigration and deportations at the hands of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
But some fans and sports stars praised the show, including former NFL star JJ Watt and New York Knicks quarterback Jalen Brunson.
The show ended with a message on the Levi Stadium video board that read “The Only Thing Stronger Than Hate is Love,” which some critics interpreted as a political message.
The show was expected to be the first Super Bowl halftime show sung entirely in Spanish. However, pop artist Lady Gaga took the stage to sing Bruno Mars’ song “Die With a Smile.”
Bad Bunny was wearing a fake football jersey that read “Ocasio 64.” Ocasio is her last night. Some have suggested that this number refers to the death toll from Hurricane Maria originally claimed by the Puerto Rican government. This number was later revised to approximately 3,000.
Many fans skipped this year’s Super Bowl halftime show in favor of watching Turning Point USA’s “All-American” halftime show starring Kid Rock, including Pro Football. Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson and Brett Favre and former ESPN host Sage Steele.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the president will watch the “All-American” halftime show.
“I think the president would prefer a Kid Rock performance over Bad Bunny. I have to say that,” Leavitt told reporters at Thursday’s White House press conference.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell defended The scene where Bad Bunny performed earlier this week.
“Listen, Bad Bunny, I think it was featured last night, is one of the biggest artists in the world and that’s one of the reasons we chose him,” Goodell said. “But the other reason is that he understands the platform that he’s on, and that platform is used to unite people, to be able to bring people together with their creativity, their talent, and use this moment to do that, and I think artists have done that in the past as well.
“I think Bad Bunny understands that and I think he’ll put on a great performance.”
