Armed Forces Must Be Prepared For Longer Conflicts: Rajnath Singh

Mhow (MP): Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Wednesday that Indian’s armed forces should be prepared for all kinds of security difficulties, including short -term conflicts, even in a five -year war, considering an unpredictable geopolitical environment.

Singh said that India does not want anyone’s land, but is ready to go to any extent to protect its regional integrity at an address called ‘Ran Samvad’ at Ordu Savaş College.

“In today’s period, wars have become so sudden and unpredictable that it is very difficult to predict when any war will end and how long it will last.” He said.

He said the Indian army should be prepared for every situation.

“So, if any war extends for two months, four months, one year, two years, or even five years, we must be completely ready for it.”

Singh said that national security is no longer a matter of army, but it has become a “whole approach” problem.

“We don’t want anyone’s land, but we’re ready to go to any extent to protect our land,” the Minister said in the presence of the best military rice, including the defense staff of India, Gen Anil Chauhan, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh and Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Krripathi.

He praised three services on Sindoor operation and said that India’s domestic platforms, equipment and weapon systems emerged as a great example of the success.

“Once again, he stressed that self -confidence is an absolute necessity in the coming times. We have made a significant progress towards self -confidence, but there is still a long way.” He said.

Singh, the success of the Sindoor operation, the armed forces against the terrorists in Pakistan, the courage and fastness of the “perfect example”, he said.

This was something that terrorists could never imagine.

“If we talk about the Sindoor Operation, this was a striking show of the technology -oriented war.” He said.
