Meghan posts charming pictures of daughter Lilibet, four, telling her to ‘ Go get ’em!’ to mark International Day of the Girl

Meghan Markle shared a rare photo of her daughter Lilibet on Instagram to mark International Girl’s Day.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, posted a sweet photo of herself holding hands with four-year-old Lilibet in the scenic garden of their Montecito home.
The post was titled: ‘To all the girls, this world is yours. Do what you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other.
‘We will do the same for you. This is your right and our responsibility. Go get ’em girl! Happy International Day of the Girl Child.’
In the picture, Meghan looks lovingly at her daughter as the couple strolls hand in hand.
The Duchess wears a crisp white linen shirt and matching trousers, while Lilibet wears a pink T-shirt and jeans.
Meghan also posted an adorable video clip of Lilibet happily running around on the grass while music plays in the background.
She and her husband Prince Harry have two children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
International Day of the Girl, celebrated every year on October 11, was established by the United Nations to draw attention to gender inequality in the world and to support girls’ rights to education, healthcare, and protection from discrimination and violence.

It aims to empower young women and raise their voices on issues that affect their future.
The post comes after the couple were crowned ‘Humanitarian of the Year’ at the Healthy Minds Project World Mental Health Day Gala on Thursday.
The couple were seen taking to the stage to accept the award, with Meghan stating: ‘Our children Archie and Lili are only six and four.
‘Luckily we are still too young for social media but we know that day will come.
‘Like many parents, we are constantly thinking about how to reap the benefits of technology while protecting ourselves against its dangers.’
Addressing the impact of social media on young children, the star added: ‘This hopeful intention of parting is quickly becoming impossible.’
Harry made a similar statement, saying: ‘This is a pivotal moment in our collective mission to protect children and support families in the digital age.’
The Duke of Sussex has been honored as a ‘humanitarian, mental health advocate, environmentalist and military combat veteran’ by Project Healthy Minds.

Meghan was also known as a ‘mother, wife, entrepreneur and philanthropist’.
Both Harry and Meghan are known for founding the non-profit Archewell Foundation in 2020.
Specifically, the organization ‘partners with key organizations and leaders to identify immediate needs, create meaningful initiatives, and drive long-term change,’ according to its official website.
Meghan and Harry had lunch with tennis legend Serena Williams at Soho House in New York, just a day after being named Humanitarians of the Year.
The Duchess of Sussex wore wide-leg navy blue trousers paired with a striped blouse and a brown jacket as she headed to a members’ club in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District on Friday.
Meghan, who went to lunch with her husband and close friend Serena, combined her jacket with brown stilettos and had her hair pulled back into a bun.
The Duchess and Serena have been close friends since Meghan met Prince Harry and often share loving posts with each other on social media.
The two first met at a Super Bowl party in 2010 and became firm friends after reuniting at an event in 2014.
The Duchess invited the athlete to her wedding to Prince Harry and her star-studded baby shower in 2019, while she was pregnant with Archie.
Serena also expressed her praise for Meghan, including comments made after the Duke and Duchess’ explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey on CNN in 2021.
The tennis player later said: ‘Meghan is an amazing person and I think she is the epitome of strength, the example of confidence, the example of selflessness and the example of everything just herself and everything she’s been through.
‘You can see from the interview that it wasn’t easy. But she had so much confidence and still had so much class.
‘I think he is the strongest person I know. ‘I don’t know anyone else who can handle anything on a global scale the way he has to deal with things that aren’t real on a minute-by-minute basis.’
