Eight Escape Unhurt as SUV Catches Fire in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: An Innova SUV caught fire after hitting a road divider on National Highway 65 at Gundrampally in Chityal mandal in Nalgonda district in the early hours of Saturday.

The vehicle overturned due to the impact and caught fire in a short time. Fortunately, all eight passengers made it out safely before flames engulfed the SUV.

Traffic on the highway came to a halt due to the burning vehicle blocking the road. While the firefighters who arrived at the scene extinguished the fire, the vehicle became completely unusable.

The police then used a crane to move the vehicle to the roadside and tried to clear traffic congestion on NH-65.
