Meghwal defends 130th Constitutional Amendment Bill, cites Kejriwal’s refusal to resign while jailed

Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal described the 130th Constitutional Amendment Law as a “progressive legislation” on Saturday, August 23, 2025, and wondered if the opposition criticized the bill by criticizing the bill.

Mr Meghwal defending the bill, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal’ın imprisoned as the Prime Minister of Delhi said he did not resign.

“To me, this is a perfect and progressive law. The opposition must support him, but opponents. Is the opposition in favor of corruption?” The minister asked the journalists.
