Melania Trump attacks claims about her and Jeffrey Epstein

First Lady Melania Trump condemned what she described as a series of false claims about herself and notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in scathing comments Thursday.

“I am not a victim of Epstein,” Melania Trump said. “Epstein didn’t introduce me to Donald Trump.”

“I had no knowledge that Epstein mistreated his victims,” he said. “I was never involved in any capacity. I was not a participant.”

The First Lady said that “Epstein and I first crossed paths in 2000, at an event where he was with current President Trump.”

“At the time, I had never met Epstein and had no knowledge of his criminal activities,” Melania Trump said.

“Fake images and statements about Epstein and me have been circulating on social media for years,” he said. “Be careful what you believe: These images and stories are completely false.”

“I am not a witness or a named witness in connection with any of Epstein’s crimes,” the first lady said.

“My name was never mentioned in court documents. In victim statements or FBI interviews regarding the Epstein matter,” he said.
