Mernda line and Hurstbridge line suspended as partially-derailed train blocks tracks at Clifton Hill
After a passenger train came out of the rails in Cliftton Hill, two train lines were suspended indefinitely.
The train, which came out of the rail, stuck on the runway on a bottleneck on Sunday evening and caused great delays for vehicles in the northeast of the city.

The train, which has 55 passengers, was traveling to the south on the Clifton Hill station on the Merunda line when the pantographer was mixed with the pantographs when it was mixed with an antenna-like structure that connects the train to the hill cables.
A Metro Trains Spokesman said that all passengers were released safely by civil servants and suspended the services.
Buses will continue to replace the trains on the Hurstbridge and Mernda lines on Tuesday morning by buses working between Eltham and Parliament and Reservoir and Parliament.
Considering the additional bus and pedestrian traffic, the drivers are asked to pay extra attention to the train stations.
“Security is always our biggest priority. We suspended the services on Merund and Hurstbridge lines last night, iler they said.
“Our crews are working to solve the problem and thank their passengers for patience.”
