Two Killed, Four Injured in Separate Road Accidents in AP
Anantapur: A horrific road accident took place near Agrampalli village of Madakasira mandal of Anantapur district in the early hours of Friday. As a result of the Eicher minibus crashing into the Bolero cargo vehicle, two people died at the scene and two others were seriously injured.
After passing drivers immediately reported the situation to the police, police teams arrived at the scene and took the injured to a nearby hospital. Doctors said their condition was still critical. The bodies of those who lost their lives were taken to the district State Hospital for autopsy.
Police said one of the deceased was identified as Vadrapalem Raghuram from Madakasira town, while the other was a resident of CK Palli. The families of the victims were informed. A case has been registered and investigation is ongoing.
In another incident, a private travel bus lost control and overturned on the national highway near Chabolu in Nandyal district. 6 passengers were injured in the accident. Citizens around ran to help and took the injured to a nearby hospital.
Due to the accident, traffic congestion occurred on the highway and vehicles were stuck in queues for kilometers. The police arrived at the scene and reopened the traffic after clearing the road.
