Martin Short’s eldest child, Katherine Short, died on Monday, Fox News Digital confirmed. He was 42 years old.
The circumstances surrounding his death were not immediately known.
“It is with deep sadness that we confirm the passing of Katherine Hartley Short,” a family representative said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

Katherine was the eldest of three children Martin adopted from his late wife, Nancy Dolman.
The couple was married for 30 years before Dolman’s death from ovarian cancer in 2010.
