Met Office issues fresh weather warning as heavy rain lashes UK
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning as heavy rain is expected to hit parts of the UK early next week.
The worst weather conditions will occur in south Wales between late Sunday and Monday night, with some areas seeing 60-80mm of rainfall and possible flooding, the forecaster said.
Yellow weather warnings have been issued throughout the weekend as rain and icy conditions are expected in the East Midlands, North East England, North West England, West Midlands and Yorkshire & Humber.
