Frightening scenes from Oasis concert in Melbourne leaves brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher in shock as FLARES launch into sold-out crowd

Britpop legends Liam and Noel Gallagher kicked off the Australian leg of their world tour with a real bang on Friday night.
Oasis performed to more than 55,000 screaming fans at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne for the first of their three sold-out shows Down Under.
But the iconic siblings were stunned when a fan set off flares mid-set during their song Champagne Supernova.
Footage of the incident shows bright red light illuminating nosebleeds before someone fired a flare into the surrounding crowd.
As concertgoers tried to get away from the glare, the crowd crashed and burned in the middle of the moshpit.
Liam, 53, and Noel, 58, didn’t let the interruption disrupt their set, but the younger of the two called out the reckless behavior when he finished singing.

‘That was naughty. ‘Naughty, naughty, naughty,’ he said as he wagged his finger at the offender before continuing the demonstration.
But Noel ‘seemed concerned’ about the incident, according to one attendee.
“Every time you saw that flash, it looked like a fire, and then it got under control pretty quickly,” concertgoer Virginia said. news.com.au.
‘I was there with my 13-year-old daughter, so when she played I thought it was bad and thought we’d leave before the song was over and try to get out.
‘My husband thought Noel Gallagher looked worried. And then Liam wagged his finger and said “naughty, naughty”.
‘It was so full, so full. If you’re playing football or cricket there’s a bit more room to move around, but there… I hope people are okay.’
Other fans flocked to Reddit to call out the person who lit the torch and threw it into the middle of the crowd.
‘This is so awful they could have burned some poor girl’s face off. “I hope they get arrested and banned from concerts,” one person wrote.

‘I really don’t understand how much people enjoy doing things like this,’ wrote a third.
Another said: ‘I have no problem with smoke bombs/flares being lit but throwing it away is a stupid move.’
‘What kind of idiot does this in a crowded stadium?’ one user commented.
