UFC fans go wild for ‘best ever’ rendition of the national anthem at White House event in front of Trump
Donald Trump’s UFC birthday extravaganza got off to a ‘chilling’ start on Sunday as fans greeted the national anthem in front of the White House.
The historic UFC Freedom 250 fight night was held on the South Lawn of the White House to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary and the President’s 80th birthday.
Trump was greeted by a chorus of trumpets as he strolled along with UFC chief Dana White on the South Lawn of the White House on Sunday.
The Zac Brown Band were then given the honor of performing The Star-Spangled Banner before a 12-jet flight followed by AC/DC’s ‘Thunderstruck’.
The performance garnered instant praise on social media. One fan wrote to Prepared by.
‘Zac Brown Band and that overpass. “This is my all-time favorite performance of the National Anthem,” another delighted fan wrote on the social media platform.

Another fan added: ‘Zac Brown is a once-in-a-generation talent and the US military isn’t bad either**.’
The flamboyant performance set the tone for the evening, which had previously threatened to be ruined by the rain and storms expected when the event started.
However, as Dana White stated many times during the preparation phase, nothing could prevent this historic fight card from happening. There isn’t even a storm.
The White House was particularly sensitive about the weather delay. Earlier Sunday, when the Weather Channel reported ‘rain, 30 mph winds and mosquitoes on the White House lawn,’ an angry administration spokesman fired back at X.

Luckily for attendees, the threatening storms passed, allowing the fight card to begin shortly after its originally scheduled 8 p.m. start.
