“ I looked at food as a source of comfort. He had a very low self -esteem, so I didn’t like to go out too much.
I looked in the mirror and I felt really beautiful.
‘Covid Hit and everything was closed and I thought, “I have the opportunity to be better and I have a lot of time in my hands.”
‘I started with home exercises on Youtube and started to learn a lot about nutrition, I watched Joe Wicks and Chloe Ting.
“ When it starts once, I fell in love with the process and when you start seeing the results, it becomes easier.
I was 105kg [16st 5lbs]So my health was on the line.
Previously, Jessica regularly replaced with calorie -loaded foods, including pizza. However, the trim impressive prioritizes eating high -protein diet with minimum junk food, but calls for people not to be afraid of eating people who aim to lose weight.
Jessica said: ‘You can do anything, it is willing to take this dive and accept that you need change.’
“ I was bigger than my mother and most people in my family. I felt so unhappy myself that I didn’t care what I ate. ‘
The weight affected not only Jessica’s health, but also his social life.
Jessica said: ‘[At school] People would make comments as I was going up the stairs, ‘very slow’, someone made me call whale before.
They laughed at me. I didn’t feel that no one found me attractive and people would choose me in the classroom because I was a bigger girl.
Many men I find will only respect the girls they find attractive
“ My old classmates are now following me on Instagram, it’s a bit strange – almost scary – because they have never paid attention to me before.
Then there are men trying to talk to me [on Instagram] And I’m like ‘no, I still remember what you’re doing’.
I have never attracted a man before Uni.
‘I didn’t have a long -term relationship, but I’m very career -oriented, so I give it a priority.
‘My trust has certainly increased physically and mentally. If I hadn’t passed my journey to weight, I wouldn’t be in a Russell Group Uni and I wouldn’t read law.
‘People 100% treat me differently even on the street.
When you are a bigger girl, people don’t respect you. Someone has never kept the door open for me, but now I always get it as a girl. ‘

‘When I just started making weightlifting, I started toning and building muscle. I haven’t looked back since then.
‘A typical dinner on the day of the morning would be grain, there would be pizza or a donut at school, then I would probably go to the oven on the road after school, and then there would be a normal homemade food like a pasta oven at dinner.
“ I used to eat a lot of cakes and chocolate because it would give me a short -term satisfaction.
“ “ “ `But after school I would make a small tesco shop and I would buy a bag of dessert and chocolate.
`Now I’m sure I eat at least five fruits and vegetables every day, I have a protein target that I eat in the amount recommended by the state every day, which is 2,000 calories a day.
‘You don’t have to be afraid of eating, you can reach your goals without starving. I focus on balanced dishes that will feed my training.
‘I want to show that it is possible to increase, grow and achieve, not only to celebrate my journey, but to inspire others – no matter where you start. If I can, you can do it. ‘
