Miami Police Arrest YouTuber Jack Doherty; Drugs Recovered In Search | World News

YouTuber Jack Doherty was arrested in the Miami area on Saturday morning on charges including drug possession and obstructing traffic. According to the BBC, the 22-year-old phenomenon was detained after officers said that he was trying to film content in the middle of the road and disrupted traffic.

In the arrest documents shared by the US media, it was stated that Doherty was positioned on the highway while recording video and tried to interact with police officers. His actions reportedly caused traffic obstruction, prompting police officers to intervene. Doherty was detained and later searched when police approached him.

During the search, officers found what they described as “half of an orange, oval-shaped pill with the number 3 on it, consistent with Schedule II amphetamine.” Police also reported finding three “suspicious marijuana cigarettes” in his possession. According to the BBC, following the discovery, Doherty was sued on multiple charges of drug possession and obstructing traffic.

Some of them are even mentioned by Doherty himself. “Someone download all the news clips and send them to me,” he wrote in a story he reshared on Instagram, where a clip of his arrest was broadcast on television.
