Janhvi Kapoor’s Leaked Chats Spark Fresh Peddi Debate
Private chat screenshots allegedly linked to actress Janhvi Kapoor have reignited online debate surrounding PeddiSports drama starring Ram Charan. Screenshots widely circulated by fan accounts on social media claim that the actor expressed concerns during filming about the way some scenes involving his character were shot.
According to unverified messages, Janhvi expressed discomfort with certain camera angles and requested to avoid certain visual framing choices during the shoot. One of the screenshots, which has garnered a lot of attention online, allegedly shows the actor objecting to shots focusing on parts of his body and setting clear boundaries during production.
Leaked chats also show that Ram Charan supported her concerns on the set. In a message attributed to Janhvi, the actor allegedly supported the film’s lead actor’s request to intervene and shoot some scenes.
The controversy arose following the ongoing criticism from a section of viewers regarding the portrayal of Janhvi’s character Achiyyamma. Peddi. While some social media users argued that excessive importance was given to appearance in the introduction and presentation of the character, others questioned the film’s visual approach towards female characters.
