Hofit Golan, Vicky Pattison and Laura Anderson are among the celebrities and influencers caught up in Iranian missile strikes on Dubai’s famous Palm Jumeirah

Israeli socialite Hofit Golan and British television stars Vicky Pattison and Laura Anderson are among the celebrities and influencers currently caught up in Iran’s missile attacks on Dubai’s famous Palm Jumeirah.

An Iranian missile hit the famous hotel in Dubai on Saturday, as Tehran launched widespread revenge attacks across the Middle East following US airstrikes.

After arriving in Dubai a few hours ago, 40-year-old Hofit published images of rockets and explosions hitting the hotel from his hotel balcony.

He wrote on Instagram: ‘After learning about my flights as the sky closed in on us. I came home to see Palm filled with smoke!

‘I can see the rockets and explosions from my balcony! There were reports of other explosions being heard throughout the city. “Please stay safe, everyone,” he urged.

Vicky Pattison shared that she and her husband Ercan Ramazan “were safe and tried to stay calm” during the air strikes.

The couple landed in Dubai this week after flying on a luxury first-class Emirates flight, and just hours after sunbathing on the beach, the pair had to flee to safety.

‘Ercan and I were going to fly to Sydney this evening. “But like many others, our flight was canceled and we are now effectively stranded in Dubai,” he wrote.

‘We’ve been getting a lot of messages from people asking if we’re OK, which we are. We are at our hotel now and made sure we are safe. We recognize that the situation unfolding is frightening and we are also aware that there are many understandably worrying videos circulating on social media.

‘I’m not sure what to say other than to do the best we can to stay calm, not feed unsubstantiated narratives and think of everyone who feels unsettled and unsafe at the moment.’

Missiles fired by Tehran hit US military bases in Qatar and also rained down on Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain and Israel.

Videos posted on social media show Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah engulfed in flames after being hit by a suspected Iranian missile or missile debris.

Meanwhile, Israeli media are reporting “growing indications” that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed when his compound in Tehran was destroyed in an attack.

Officials have previously reported that the attacks caused “very serious damage” to the Iranian regime’s leaders and military commanders.

Khamenei has not been heard from since the US and Israel launched a bilateral attack on Iran on Saturday morning.

Pregnant influencer Gemma Alster also started using Instagram a few hours after landing in the UK after her Dubai holiday.

She wrote: ‘To everyone who checked in, thank you so much for your kind and caring messages. I returned from Dubai late last night and came back with Addy [her husband] and my babies.

‘It’s crazy that what I did in Dubai yesterday morning felt like I was living in a dream compared to the images and videos that emerged today.

‘I think of my friends and family in Israel and Dubai who are currently in shelters, and I pray that this is the beginning of the end of the Iranian Regime. ‘People of Iran, we are with you!’
