Middle East conflict: Kuwait intercepts hostile drones on third day of Iran retaliatory strikes

Kuwait intercepted enemy drones on Monday, the third day of Iran’s retaliatory strikes against neighboring Gulf states in response to the United States. and Israel’s attacks on the Islamic Republic.
No injuries were reported after Kuwaiti air defense intercepted the majority of the drones near the Rumaithiya and Salwa neighborhoods, the state news agency reported, according to the director general of civil defence.

According to Reuters eyewitnesses, loud explosions and sirens had been heard in Kuwait before.
Tehran said it would target US bases in the region after the US and Israel launched an attack on Iran on Saturday.
It also hit a number of civilian and commercial areas in Gulf cities, widening the conflict’s impact on key regional aviation and trade hubs.
