Migrant schoolboys ‘gang rape teacher and hold her as sex slave’ | World | News
A teacher was allegedly raped and abused by a gang of immigrant teenagers who blackmailed her into letting them use her flat for parties and forced her to pay for food, taxis and tobacco. In the case heard in Austria’s Vienna District Court, the female teacher’s sickening ordeal lasted from July 2024 to January this year.
The lead male defendants (a 15-year-old Iraqi, a 17-year-old Romanian and a 15-year-old Afghan) reportedly pleaded not guilty to the underlying charges, which included rape and sexual coercion. Allegedly, the woman’s terrifying ordeal ended when two 15-year-old boys broke into her home while she was away, stole jewelery and watches, and then set the house on fire.
Austrian media reports that the young people admitted to stealing but denied deliberately starting the fire. According to the prosecutor’s office, the teacher had sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old former student in April 2024. When told that the teenager was “sexually self-determined” and that the woman was no longer tutoring the teenager, prosecutors said “so there is no longer any authority relationship.”
Accordingly Austrian news site OrfThe following month, the 16-year-old girl brought her friends, including the defendants, to the woman’s house. The court heard the 15-year-old Iraqi “terrorised” the teacher when he discovered his relationship with the 16-year-old pupil and threatened to share photos of him meeting the group outside his school.
It was reported that the teacher was later called to his school in September 2024 due to stress and his relationship with the 16-year-old boy ended.
However, at this point, it was alleged that the defendants continued to harass the woman and filmed the sexual assault that took place on her terrace in November.
After the video was shot, the woman was afraid that the video would be shared and had to pay for taxi, food and cigarette expenses, as well as using her house for young people’s parties.
The court heard the 15-year-old Iraqi defendant claimed the sexual intercourse with the teacher was consensual and denied blackmail.
The trial will continue on October 15 with the questioning of three more defendants, and the verdicts are expected to be given on October 20.
