Aldi has confirmed it is making a major new update to its center aisle, with the Festive Range returning to stores from 31 May. Designed to help shoppers prepare for the festival for less, the latest Specialbuys range promises everything from tents and sleeping bags to portable tech and camping accessories, with prices starting from £2.99. As festival season gets underway, Aldi is once again targeting budget-conscious music lovers looking to avoid “tent floor” prices for outdoor gear.
But Aldi, as with all Specialbuys, warned shoppers to act quickly; When the products run out, they are gone too. The full range includes Aldi’s new Teepee Family Tent, £39.99. The supermarket giant said the tent was easy to set up, could sleep four people and had a waterproof exterior and secure zip fastening to withstand unpredictable British weather.
Aldi has also highlighted its Lightweight Sleeping Bag, which is available in green and grey, in both envelope and mummy styles, and costs £12.99. Lightweight and compact, the supermarket said it was designed to keep campers warm without taking up bag space.
Illuminating the campsite, the Pop-up LED Lantern Set (£8.99) offers three lighting modes: flame, white and blue. The range also includes the Folding Camping Table (£12.99) with two cup holders and a sturdy metal frame for al fresco dining.
In addition, Aldi will sell a portable charger for £11.99 that charges up to eight smartphones and features fast charging, dual USB ports (USB-C and USB-A) and a digital battery display for easy monitoring.
For transporting equipment, the Festival Trolley (£19.99) offers a four-wheeled solution in gray or black for transporting essential items through muddy areas.
