Millie Bobby Brown, 21, shares first look at adopted baby girl with husband Jake Bongiovi, 23
Millie Bobby Brown gave an insight into new motherhood as she shared her first look at the baby girl she adopted on Thursday.
The Stranger Things star, who married 23-year-old Jake Bongiovi last year, announced the surprise she embraced in a social media post on August 21.
The post read: ‘This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption.’
‘We are so excited to begin this beautiful new chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.
‘And then there were three. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.’
In the new photo, the new parents looked in awe at their daughter, whose face and tiny hand could be seen.

The Stranger Things star, who married 23-year-old Jake Bongiovi last year, made the surprise announcement in a social media post from Aug. 21 (taped in February 2025).
On July 20, Brown dropped a hint that there was a baby in their lives.
Brown’s Instagram post showed Bongiovi pushing a stroller, with Brown captioning the post: ‘Great summer so far.’ It wasn’t 100 percent clear what was going on.
The couple got married in May 2024 and the couple had discussed plans to have children, adopt and start a big family.
Earlier this year, she said she wanted to become a mother.
Appearing on the Smartless podcast hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett, the actress said she was looking forward to motherhood even though she knew she was “really young.”
‘My mother actually gave birth to her first child when she was 21, and my father was 19. “And you know, that’s been my job since I met Jake,” he said.
Since I was a baby… I wanted to be a mother, just like my mother was to me. And my grandmother, my grandmother, was a big part of my life, too.
Millie continued: “And yes, Jake knows how important this is to me, and of course I want to focus on establishing myself as an actor and producer, but I also think starting a family is very important to me personally.”
‘This is a huge thing. Jake said we couldn’t do this without getting married. So that was his job.”
Brown later added: ‘My thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family.

Earlier this year, Brown shared a single photo of the baby girl in a carrier that Bongiovi was carrying. They were on the tarmac heading towards the private jet
‘I am one of four people. He is one of four. So it’s definitely in our future, but for me, I don’t see having your own child as anything different. [from] ‘I embrace it.’
She continued: ‘My home is filled with love for everyone and everything and so Jake and I are up for it too, our energy in the home is ‘the door is always open’ and we want everyone to feel really comfortable.’
His comments come just weeks after he opened up in Vanity Fair in February about his relationship with Bongiovi and how “pretty united” they were on important issues.
‘We talked about our political views, what kind of family we wanted to start, what kind of house we wanted to live in, what kind of relationship we were looking for, what kind of career we wanted,’ he told the publication.
‘This is a very important decision and we wanted to make sure we made the right decision. I knew I was. It always felt right for him.’
Brown and Bongiovi, whose father is musician Jon Bon Jovi, first started dating in 2021 and announced their engagement in April 2023.
The couple married in May 2024 in a lavish ceremony at Villa Cetinale in Tuscany, Italy, where they said their ‘I do’s.
