Millionaire Georgia Toffolo is branded ‘tone deaf and embarrassing’ as she laughs about ‘not breaking the bank’ after buying £28 H&M top for holiday

Georgia Toffolo has been branded ‘tone deaf and embarrassing’ after making a joke about her budget holiday wardrobe.

The 31-year-old Made In Chelsea star is thought to have an estimated net worth of £425 million after marrying former Brewdog CEO James Watt. A successful businesswoman, she was already worth £5 million alone.

But in a TikTok video on Friday, Toff proved he was still watching his pennies as he shared a clip gushing about the ‘amazing’ high street and joked that his latest purchase ‘didn’t break the bank’.

In the clip, Toff twirled around wearing H&M’s £33 pink strapless top, which is now on sale for £28, as she revealed she panicked because it was too big but was able to tie it tighter in the back to save it.

Toff gushed: ‘The high street is simply gorgeous. I might cry, it’s going to have to come back because it’s too big for me, it’s really empty. Oh no, I can save him!

‘DDon’t you think this looks too expensive? It’s like I’ve prepared myself for my next holiday.’

Toff finished the clip thinking: ‘This didn’t break my bank, I can tell you. Wow! I think this is really special.’

Fans were less than impressed with the video and wrote comments such as: ‘Does anyone find this tone deaf?’; ‘Actually one of the most embarrassing videos I’ve seen in a long time’; ‘I can tell you it won’t break my budget… But shopping on the High Street is a choice for most of us. Where did it come from? [sic].

Although Toff may have rubbed some of her followers the wrong way with her clip, the millionaire businesswoman has previously expressed her love for bargain hunting.

Earlier this month, The fashion-conscious influencer told her followers how they can be as successful as she is at finding deals on Vinted, explaining that she likes to “low-ball” when sellers bargain pennies on the price.

The start of the video, shot from the multi-million pound penthouse, showed some edited moments of Georgia shouting: ‘I changed my name from Georgia Toffolo to Georgia Watt.

‘I have a gift and I didn’t know God gave me this gift. For example, I’m a bargain hunter.

‘Until I started taking Vinted really seriously about three months ago… My secret talent is finding the best stuff on Vinted.

‘I think there are real sharks out there. I am one of them too. I have tips and tricks for you to find the good stuff. It’s unfair that I get all the good things.

‘You have to get in the shark tank and compete with me. Right. RIGHT!’ he shouted as his face came closer to the camera.

Georgia has been refreshingly open about wanting to get pregnant with husband James Watt, saying she thinks it will happen for her right away.

Showcasing some of her surprising findings, Georgia continued: ‘I have a tendency to underestimate people at Vinted. It’s like my dirty secret.

‘And I was starting to feel quite embarrassed about the whole thing. I thought there would be rumors floating around… about the community… back to the story.

Patting her hip, she said: ‘So I changed my name from Georgia Toffolo to Georgia Watt, which is my husband’s surname.

‘So I thought it would give me an extra layer of anonymity so I could keep belittling people.

‘Then I talked to myself: Is this normal behavior? I trusted my friends. Many of my friends do this too.

‘Give me a 50p discount and I’ll buy it immediately. This is a confirmed agreement. But if you say no, I can’t discount even a penny, I didn’t want the jacket anyway… You need to know how to work the algorithm.’

Covering her face with a chiffon scarf, she said: ‘You know some people have sexual perversions… YOU NO! I have it for empire style busts, with a matching cape! That was £22.75!’

That aside, there was a heartwarming moment in Georgia where she bravely talked about her struggle to get pregnant.

‘Nothing can replace an accepted offer… I think having a positive pregnancy test is a parallel feeling for me, you know. I can’t believe I’m saying this.

‘Is it inappropriate or is it real? I think it might be on the same level of happiness that I feel.’
