British tourists in Spain were given a warning about a crime that “no one seems to be talking”. Holidaymakers, foreign registered and renting car rental “highway pirates” is called to pay attention.

“People are marked, normally there are two people in these cars, one will ask for help, the other is disturbing you.”

Harry continued: “This scam is always in Spain and the regions of France. But nobody seems to be talking about it. Is there such a thing before? This is a warning.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added: “‘Road pirates’ target foreign registered and especially cars hire cars.

“If you decide to stop to control the status of a vehicle, stand in a public area with lights like a service station. Be careful against everyone who offers help.”
