Miranda Lambert is saying goodbye to her childhood home.

The 42-year-old country singer’s home in Lindale, Texas, is listed for sale by her parents, Rick and Beverly, in partnership with listing agent Lee Trowbridge of Compass, for $1.59 million.

“The property served as the Lambert family home until they moved out about a year ago,” Trowbridge said. Konak Global. “During the time they lived there, the property was home to many people, including those who needed help or a place to land.”

Lambert lived in the house from the ages of 14 to 21 and later purchased the pink house on the property “after signing her record deal when she was 21,” according to the publication. The country star still owns the pink house.

Originally built in 1923, the 4,643-square-foot home features four bedrooms and five bathrooms across two floors with a perfect blend of modern and vintage details.

In addition, the home also features 2,500 square feet of outdoor living space with a brick patio, outdoor kitchen, covered patio, and access to a private dock across the pond.

The property also includes a metal warehouse and shop with additional bathroom and living space, as well as a 100-meter designated shooting range.

“The biggest feature of this property is its blend of country music history and a massive 2,500 square feet of outdoor living space,” Trowbridge said. “Between its vintage interior character and practical additions such as a shop and shooting range, the property offers a rare blend of cool factor and functional country living.”

Although Lambert did not write the 2009 hit song “The House That Built Me”, he has said in many interviews that the song resonated with him and was similar to his real life.

The song tells the story of an adult returning to his childhood home and asking the current homeowners if he can walk around inside to relive the happy times of his childhood.

“It was a run-down farmhouse that my mom had somehow slowly turned into a beautiful home. That’s why it was so special when I heard that song, because I lived it,” she told Southern Living’s podcast.Biscuits and Jam“In May 2023.

“We had kind of lost everything at the time and my family was starting over,” he added. “We had to kind of start over and move to a different city, and my dad and mom rebuilt. So they literally said, ‘We’re going to start over, rebuild our lives, and get back on our feet.'”

When they moved to the farmhouse, “her father decided that his family would never go hungry” and that they would “live off the land,” and “that’s exactly what happened,” she said.

The “Tin Man” singer recalled that his father hunted for their food and started a “garden and compost pile,” adding that they also “raised rabbits” and his mother could do anything.

Lambert broke into the music industry after placing third on “Nashville Star” in 2003, which eventually led to her landing a record deal. In 2005, he released his first studio album, “Kerosene”, which went platinum and immediately solidified his place in the country music world.

He has since released seven more studio albums; two of them have won the Grammy Award for best country album, and she holds the record for the most decorated artist at the Academy of Country Music Awards with 35 wins, including nine consecutive female vocalist of the year.

Most recently, Lambert collaborated with Kacey Musgraves for a song on Musgraves’ latest album, but following rumors that the two were at loggerheads. Lambert recorded “Mama’s Broken Heart” for her 2013 album after it was presented to her without Musgraves’ knowledge, even though she had planned to release it as her debut single.

“And ultimately I’m really glad I did it, because it forced me to write ‘Merry Go Round,’ which already made a lot more sense to me aesthetically and lyrically than ‘Mama’s Broken Heart’ did to kick things off,” Musgraves told NPR in March. “And that was No. 1 for him. In the end, everyone wins because I was able to give up something.”
