Comcars for the golden goose, no showers for the old gander

Both major parties are finding ways to subvert the system and make taxpayers pay their private bills. Anika Wells is the last MP to appear. What’s his scam?
When Anika Wells was Minister for Aged Care, she had the power to oversee the rules surrounding the new Home Support scheme. These new rules require seniors to pay co-payments for their home care.
As a result, seniors who need help taking a shower must pay for this service. For example, retirees will be asked to contribute 5 percent of the cost. If an elderly person cannot afford the co-pay for a shower, they may need to skip it.
Anika Wells currently serves as Minister of Communications and Sport, and it was revealed that she claimed her family’s travel expenses and used her Comcar rights to take them to sports facilities (and attend birthday parties). We can only guess that they paid for their own showers…
Home Support? First they came for the young, now they come for the old
