Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., blasted travel chaos at airports across the country as a direct result of Democrats’ “tantrum” over immigration policy as the ongoing feud has disrupted TSA operations and disrupted millions of travelers across the country.
“The reason we are in this predicament is because Democrats are using long TSA lines to throw a tantrum over violent deportations of illegal aliens and funding for ICE and Border Patrol,” Cotton said on Fox News Sunday.
The Arkansas Republican argued the disruptions were not due to a lack of funding, but reiterated that they resulted from a deliberate political fight over immigration and accused Democrats of prolonging the wrangling as demands shift and airport delays continue across the country.

He added that Democrats are pushing for reforms that would prevent ICE agents from wearing masks; most Republicans oppose it.
“The reason ICE officers wear masks is because radical leftist Democrats are destroying them and then street militias are terrorizing their wives and children in their homes,” Cotton said.
“That’s why Democrats are imposing long TSA lines on the American people.”

“This is a division. Everyone should unite and work together instead of just picking teams…” another said.
