MLB All-Star dismisses notion of ‘tarnished’ legacy for stance on trans minors

2017 National League All-Star Zack Cozart remains strong on the issue of underage gender reassignment.
The former Cincinnati Reds shortstop claimed he was “told on” in a social media post on Friday [his] His reputation was ‘tarnished’ by his conservative views and his belief that minors should not be able to “change their gender”.
“Let me be clear… if this is true [because] “I don’t think a child should be allowed to change gender, so be it…” Cozart declared.[You] Turn 18, do whatever you want. [you] I want but when [you] Saying I can’t get a tattoo until I’m 18, I’m probably on the right side of the debate. [you] should not be able to change [your] Sex under 18.”

Cozart also expressed his views on transgender athletes in girls’ and women’s sports.

Earlier this week, she posted sarcastically about the Olympics’ decision to ban transgender athletes from women’s events after finding evidence of biological male advantages.
“Wow, they just found it?” he wrote.
Cozart had said he would no longer support Trump if the United States went to war in June, but reversed course after a ceasefire was declared at that time.
“I’ll happily eat my words for what happened today… I’ve learned to trust the man,” he wrote to X.
