MLB World Series Game 3: LA Dodgers beat Toronto Blue Jays in 18-innings epic

Teoscar Hernandez, who struck out all four of his at-bats in the second game, opened the scoring with a home run for the Dodgers in the second inning.
Ohtani doubled the lead with a solo shot in the third before the Blue Jays’ bats took the lead in the top of the fourth inning.
A fielding error by second baseman Tommy Edman allowed the Canadiens to put two men on base, before Alejandro Kirk drilled his second goal of the series over the center field fence for a 3-2 lead before Andres Gimenez’s sacrifice fly made it 4-2.
Blue Jays starter Max Scherzer became the first to pitch for four different teams in the World Series, but he left the game in the fifth inning, signaling the Dodgers would tie the scores.
Ohtani’s third hit of the night belonged to Enrique Hernandez, while Freeman moved Ohtani from second base to make it 4-4.
The pendulum swung towards Toronto in the seventh when Bo Bichette’s line shot into the right corner allowed Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to score from first base, but Ohtani’s second goal of the night tied the score again at 5-5 and the game was deadlocked after that.
Both sides stranded multiple baserunners on multiple occasions and neither was able to generate a run with the bases loaded.
Ohtani was walked deliberately, external He was caught stealing second base four times, Toronto pinch runner Davis Schneider was struck out with a home run in the 10th, and veteran Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw had a minor role in the bullpen in his final series before retiring.
Finally, with no substitutes left on either side, Freeman lifted sub Brendon Little over midfield to score the winner.
The series continues with game four on Tuesday, also at Dodger Stadium, where Ohtani will be the starting pitcher.
