Modern Makeover, Surprise Checks To Enhance Devotee Services Atop Indrakeeladri

: The management of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri has embarked on a modernization drive and intensified site inspections to provide uninterrupted and transparent services to devotees.

Infrastructure improvement works are progressing under the supervision of enforcement officer VK Seena Naik. The focus is on renovating the Annadanam complex and the famous laddu ‘potu’ (kitchen) with state-of-the-art technology to ensure prompt supply of high-quality prasadam and hygienic, delicious annaprasadam to pilgrims.

A technical team from TTD visited the hill temple on Thursday and inspected the newly constructed Annadanam building and laddu preparation unit. The team reviewed recommendations for the installation of advanced boiler systems and modern kitchen equipment.

A report with technical plans and recommendations will be ready within three days, officials said.

Representatives of Technology Engineers, including director G Raghunathan, design manager Parthasaradhi, sales manager Koteswara Rao and managing partner Hari Prasad attended the review meeting and discussed equipment specifications with the EO.

Temple engineering officials Koteswara Rao, Ravindra and Ashok Kumar were present.

Seena Naik reviewed the functioning of various departments. He inspected the quality of coconuts at sales stalls, verified stocks of saris, warned staff against overcharging at cloakrooms and chappal stands, and interacted with devotees to verify that established rates were being adhered to.

He called for the urgent repair of the mobile phone case floor and the uninterrupted supply of drinking water to those waiting in the queue. It tested a ticket booth and reviewed screening procedures, reiterating zero tolerance for negligence.
