Modi Calls For ‘Inner Peace As Global Policy’ On International Yoga Day

Visakhapatnam: On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on the international community to adopt the “inner peace” as a “global policy” and to make yoga a collective global responsibility. Speaking on the 11th International Yoga Celebrations Day in Visakhapatnam, the Prime Minister called on the countries not only as a personal or cultural practice, but to adopt yoga as a unifying force for humanity.
“I want to encourage this opportunity to allow this international yoga day to point to the beginning of yoga for humanity.
The event was held along the Natural Visakhapatnam coastline, which contributed to the magnificence of the celebration with the Indian navy ships near the coast. PM Modi, Yoga enthusiasts, residents and honorable Lakhs from Andhra Pradesh attended. Pm Modi, who calls for a global mass movement through yoga, said, “Let us all make a mass movement together. A movement that leads the world to peace, health and sleep. Every person begins the day with yoga and finds balance in life.
At the start of the start minister extended grapes to peope, the world of international yoga day, marking its 11th year of celebration Connecting Humanity with Nature and Each Orther, PM Said, “Yoga Teaches Us That We Are Not Isolated Indivitals, We Are The Integral Part of Nature. We are starting to look at our society and our planet.
“The Prime Minister also praised the efforts of the Andhra Pradesh government and thanked Prime Minister N Chandrabababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan for organizing the event. I am really happy to host such a wonderful activity under your gathering in Visakhapatnam, which is a city.
The Prime Minister also reflected India’s 2014 proposal in the United Nations on June 21 as an international yoga day and reflected how more than 170 countries support the movement in a record time. He said that yoga has been transformed into a worldwide practice symbolizing peace, balance and cooperation since then. This year’s celebrations participated in the lakhs of the people in the states.
