Modi Meets Shubhanshu Shukla After Historic ISS Mission

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the captain of the Air Force Group Shubhanshu Shukla, the first astronaut at India’s International Space Station (ISS) at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.

The visuals showed that the Prime Minister embraced Shukla and watched the pictures of the world withdrawn from the earth. Shukla also presented to Modi with the Aksiyom-4 task patch.

In the early hours of the day, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla greeted Shukla’s successful mission and return and described it as a “issue of pride and inspiration for the nation. Birla, who handled the house, said that Shukla’s success would inspire Indian youth and strengthen the vision of ‘Vikitis Bharat’ until 2047.

Lok Sabha also briefly discussed the critical role of India’s hymen astronaut in ISS and the critical role of space research in shaping the future of the country.
