Moment crew docks at International Space Station

Four astronauts docked with the International Space Station (ISS) after launching from Earth on Friday.

The crew will spend eight months on the ISS after replacing the crew evacuated last month due to a medical emergency.

On the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft heading to the ISS were two NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway from the USA, European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot from France, and Russian Roscocosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev.

The four are known as Crew-12 because they constitute SpaceX’s 12th crewed rotational flight to the International Space Station.
