Moment TOWIE star Jordan Wright threatens a ‘f****** shootout’ days before he was found dead

TOWIE star Jordan Wright threatened to “shoot” an anonymous stranger over the phone, days before he was found dead in a drainage ditch in Thailand.

CCTV footage shows the reality TV star arguing loudly with the stranger while standing in a drainage ditch where he was found dead just two days later.

The haunting footage was captured at 11.37pm on March 12, 12 minutes after the 33-year-old man, from Basildon, was seen on another CCTV camera running towards his hotel in Phuket.

Police believe the man was arguing on the phone and said they are investigating the identity of the caller on the other end.

It’s not confirmed exactly what Jordan said, but he seems to be saying: ‘Let’s get it in their heads and have a shootout before they come back.’

He also seems to be saying: ‘You’d better act on your own.

‘I’m going to be gone for a long time, my friend, you’ll be late home.

‘You must be able to defend yourself. That’s all it takes. Yes, yes, that’s true.”

CCTV footage shows a family of three staying at a neighboring hotel hearing Jordan shouting on the phone.

CCTV showed Jordan running erratically at the top right and shouting and threatening a 'conflict' during a phone call to an unknown person 12 minutes earlier the same night.

The footage also shows the TOWIE star saying at one point: ‘Don’t cheat, it’s okay mate.’

The video also shows a family of three staying at a neighboring hotel turning around and walking down the road when they heard Jordan yelling during the phone call.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Chanasin Prateep Na Thalang He told the sun He said a foreign family of three staying at The Title Hotel saw Mr Wright walking alone.

Mr Thalang said they said he was ‘near the drainage ditch, shouting loudly as if he was mad’ and then ‘heard the sound of someone walking on water’.

He added: ‘Then around midnight the noise stopped.’

The officer claimed ‘nobody ran after’ Jordan and no other sounds were heard, adding: ‘The water level in some parts of the canal was chest deep and he may not have been able to climb back due to the darkness and his agitated state.’

It is understood police do not believe Jordan was physically chased by another person in a CCTV clip of him running back to the hotel; but this does not exclude the possibility that he escaped from someone stationary elsewhere before his death.

Security and CCTV cameras at Hotel COCO did not detect any other figures, police said. The circumstances leading to Jordan’s death are ‘unclear’ and it is possible ‘other people were involved’.

Jordan, who came to Thailand on a digital nomad visa in December, was found dead in a drainage channel at a construction site by a Burmese worker on March 14.

It is believed that he drowned in still water, but the exact time of death is not yet known.

Jordan checked into his hotel around 7 p.m. on March 12, and it is unclear what he was doing until around 11:30 p.m. Meanwhile, he was caught running chaotically back to the hotel and was later heard arguing loudly on the phone with someone in a separate footage.

Two days later, at 12:30 a.m. on March 14, he was found dead by a Burmese worker with his iPhone left on a nearby lawn.

In early CCTV footage taken before Jordan is heard shouting on the phone, he can be seen turning a corner in a panicked and confused state when he suddenly grabs onto a parked white pickup truck to regain his composure.

A few minutes later, deep inside Hotel COCO Phuket Bangtao Beach, he is seen pacing back and forth before quickly running out of the complex and disappearing outside the perimeter of the hotel.

From here his final movements become even more erratic. Jordan is believed to have run across the rugged terrain surrounding the hotel, then jumped down a 10-foot stream, splashed into a shallow stream and ran toward a nearby construction site.

The place where his body was found two days later was an isolated, half-built area with no security cameras.

Hotel records show Jordan checked into the hotel alone and was supposed to leave on March 13, but never arrived.
