Poll of the day: Is hosting Trump good diplomacy – or a diplomatic disaster waiting to happen?

Donald Trump makes two visits to the UK this year-a special trip that focuses on the Golf fields and a full state visit in September, King III. It was completed with a welcome from Charles.

US President South Ayshire and Aberdeenchire spend time in holiday villages and is expected to meet with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Scotland’s first minister John Swinney.

He also plans to open a new course dedicated to his Scottish mother.

Downing Street greeting the trip as a “historical” opportunity to strengthen England-US ties, and created an invitation response.

Protesters accused Trump of spreading hatred, accelerating climate deterioration and weakening democratic norms.

A wave of demonstrations was planned around both visits – activists say that Britain should not “spread the red carpet” for a leader with such a controversial record.

In Westminster, some MPs spoke against the state visit, others call it “inappropriate ve and even called the parliament to completely reject Trump.

However, White House sources insist that no parliamentary address is expected and that the journey is completely diplomatic.

So, is Trump’s approach to the upcoming state to protect international relations or is it a mistake that sends the wrong message?
